Meh, not really when compared to other things. Imagine what a $5K dollar piece of land back then would be worth now (in the right place) or a $5k investment in the stock market back then would be worth now (especially for some stocks).

I hear ya man, i bought mine used with roughly 900 miles on it and it has almost 36K on it now. I used to drive 40+ miles a day for work, plus all the just random drives i would take, add up. But have been worth it, except for the few close calls in the winter.
