Happy Holidays, and a Ford for a Ford....(sob)
Hi All,
I've been MIA for quite awhile now, but wanted to wish everyone on this forum Happy Holidays!
It's been a pretty eventful year....last April, my hubs was in a pretty significant (and oddball) motorcycle accident that totaled his Goldwing, and almost totaled him, when a parking garage arm came down on top of him.
That resulted in back/neck surgery # 4 in his lifetime, and thankfully, he is pretty well recovered and went back to work in August. Yes, we replaced his Goldwing and he's back to riding!
Then there is my job, which has required our trusty Race Red 2013 Mustang to travel down some farm roads that really deserved a 4 x 4. Fortunately, my husband works for a car dealer, and we are now trading in our lovely Mustang for a one owner 2008 Ford F-150 Crew Cab 4 x 4 XLT, with a lowly 33k on the clock.
I will no longer have to feel guilty A) taking the Mustang down roads that no Mustang should travel, and B) watching as hubby gets in/out of the low slung Stang - not as easy after all his various back surgeries.....
Anyway, tomorrow, the Black Beauty Ford Truck becomes officially ours, and the Mustang will find a new deserving home. At least we are still FORD.
Hope you are all doing well, and enjoying your families, furry friends, and cars for the holidays!
Tami
