Guys and their Mod Lists on Car & Truck Forums
It's funny you say you'll never put that much money into a car again....simply because it is a catch-22, it always seems to be the smarter/prudent move to buy a car someone else has dumped their money into, and let them take the loss. The flip side, is...unless you know the person well, who did the work, what parts were used (hence the list I guess), it seems dicey and potentially expensive/troublesome to buy a car like that vs. doing it all yourself so you know "what's what". Can't win for losing! I'd keep it too probably, if I were in your shoes!
I'm good with it, really. It was more generally an observation that I didn't find this to be common at all on other male dominated forums that I have been on. Sorry to have thrown the sexist humor on top of it! And certainly, no one is expected to *not* post their mod lists if they so choose. I appreciate everyone's explanations, and humorous replies in return!
I have a list....the only one I have shared it with is my Insurance Company (all mods are insured). You want to see it?

Holy Mother of God!!!!
So, this is just a semi-idle observation (question?). I've been on a jillion motorcycle forums, and generally speaking, rarely does anyone have a list of all the "mods" they have installed on their bikes as part of their signature. Maybe a picture and the year/kind of bike, but that's about it.
Conversely, EVERY auto forum I have ever visited, many guys (most, even?) have this loooooong list of things installed on their vehicles. Like it's some kind of badge of honor, or p----- extension, or something.
Anyway....women don't seem to ever do this either. What's up with you guys and your list of mods in your signatures? Is it bragging rights? You've installed SO many things, you're afraid you'll lose track? It's the only place to store such information because you threw out the receipts so the wife wouldn't find them? Is it to impress the few females that show up on these forums? Anyway....being a gal, I find it kind of funny, or weird, or maybe both! LOL
No offense intended of course

I never posted a full list of mods, if someone wants to know more info they can ask me, but I am very proud of my runs and post them all over the place.
Worked hard on the car

pretty sure it has ZERO to do with females at all.
That sounds like a bit of a far reach.
I believe it all started with people asking for help and every first reply asking what is done to the car, from then it went on to post 1/4 times and such.

haha, the unfortunate thing of sig pics is the pages get very long and slow down with all the extra graphics. I'm a member on the svt performance site and that's common over there.
That's never been a problem for me on other properly managed sites where they have a sig picture size requirement
So I feel compelled to share my mods, but I do not want to change my signature...
