Good Stang for me

I just found this forum today and can't believe I haven't found it sooner!! I'm a huge Mustang fan and am 15 right now. This October I turn 16, and my parents are going to let me get my first car, which of course will be a Stang! I heard if you get a V6, insurance will be lower on the car (Mom said no V8!!) and I'm looking for one that get's ok mileage. I know it varied some by year, but not much. I was thinking of a '02 in red with a V6, automatic I found. Any ideas on anything else, i.e, manual trans, convertible, etc. Thanks!!

Also found an '03 V6 black convertible. After looking at the site, I went back and looked at the picture. It looks to me as though it's a Pony Edition. Are these rare these days or what?? Thanks

Welcome to the site"(Mom said no V8!!)" she is right for now. If you can swing get an 05+ V6 they are as fast some of the early 90s GT. If not go for the 03 vert very nice car
