Flat Rock Plant on Google Imagery

I don't know if anyone has really looked. But you should check out Google Maps satellite imagery of the Mustang plant at Flat Rock, MI. Just plug in the address: 1 International Drive, Flat Rock, MI. Zoom in, of course, and check out all the Mustangs in the storage area. You can see the convertibles, all the color choices that have been made...White seems more popular than one would think. Also, check out the test track at the West of the complex. And, you can view the rail loading area where you car gets loaded onto on its way to your dealer. Especially if you're expecting a special order car, it's kinda neat I think to "poke" around the plant and see all the signs of activity.

If you look at the regular images there are still a ton of yellow cars with BOSS stripes. If you switch to birds eye view there are none.

Very cool pic/post, Fenderaddict2. I used to look at overhead imagery in a past job, so I find this sort of poking around pretty cool...especially since I am somewhat "attached" to the plant. I guess now, there'll be a lot of Fusions the next time Google snaps a pic of the plant in the future.

How up to date are those satellite images? I did my own address and the pictures are at least a year old. I can tell by the old street. It was repaved last June. The pictures show the old street not the one paved last June.

Good question. I suspect it is once or twice a year max, if that. But the answer I have is "no idea," but I'd like to know too.
