What do You think about the fact that Ford Mustang has never been offered in Europe, although it is very popular there, has many fans and many car enthusiasts are simply in love with this car?(especially the new 2005 Mustang)

Ask him if he thinks the Mustang II deserves more respect. He was president of ford at the time and it sold really well. He had alot to do with the direction ford decided to go with the Mustang in the 70's. It was a very popular car at the time and was motor trend car of the year.

Here's the list so far:
  1. There are several stories about how Mustang got its name. How was it the way you remember it?
  2. Several other names other than Mustang were proposed (Puma, Cheetah, Colt, Cougar, T-Bird II, Bronco, T-5, Special Falcon, and Torino). What was your choice?
  3. I've been in recent contact with Holly Clark, Phil Clark's daughter. (Phil Clark designed the Mustang logo.) Mr. Clark died when Holly was three, and she didn’t know until recently finding his photos in an attic that her father was involved with Mustang at all. What was your relationship with Mr. Clark? Did you two agree on the Mustang logo at first? If not, what were your propositions for the design?
  4. I have a sketch by Phil Clark of a hardtop Mustang I concept. I believe it was called Project 2+2. Was the first concept originally slated to be a hardtop/fastback? How far did that idea go?
  5. What do you think is the single most important quality about the Mustang that made it so popular initially, and to this day, in comparison to other cars that have come and gone?
  6. Do you recall a point in time that you realized that the Mustang was more than just popular, that it had become a cultural icon, a symbol? Did you realize it before the first sales in April 1964, or did it come about shortly thereafter?
  7. If you could go back to 1964 and do it all over again, would you do anything differently with the Mustang?
  8. Ford sold more than 600,000 Mustangs in 1966. What was the environment like in Dearborn that year?
  9. I’ve recently heard that Mustangs were manufactured overseas during the first generation. Is this true? What countries produced Mustangs, and when?
  10. Do you still talk with Joe Oros, Don Frey, or Carroll Shelby?
  11. Whose idea was it to ask Carroll Shelby to modify the Mustang? What were you initial thoughts on making this secretaries’ car a sports/muscle car? What were Mr. Shelby’s?
  12. What were your thoughts when you heard Ford was considering making Mustang a front-wheel drive car for the 1994 model year?
  13. What do you think about the fact that Ford Mustang has rarely been offered in Europe, although it is very popular there, has many fans and many car enthusiasts are simply in love with this car?
  14. You were president of Ford in 1974 when the Mustang II was introduced. It sold extremely well, won Motor Trend’s Car of the Year award, and kept the Mustang name alive. Yet today, Mustang II restoration is a labor of love with parts shortages and lack of respect from other Mustang owners. Even Motor Trend turned its back on the II, calling the 1974-1978 section at the Mustang 40th Anniversary Celebration the “Mustang II Ghetto.†Do you think the II deserves more respect than it gets?
  15. What do you think of the 2005 marketing campaign (“Cornfield,†“Anthem,†print ads, product placement, etc.)?
  16. What are the American manufacturers doing (and what are they not doing that they should) to hold or improve their share of the pie versus imports?
  17. If you were running the current Mustang program, what special editions would you create? What unique features would there be for each? What would be the timeline for releasing each model?
  18. What is your favorite Mustang of all-time, and why?
  19. What Mustangs do you own or have owned?
  20. What is your biggest accomplishment in the automotive industry in all your years in the business?

Hey ask Mr. Iacocca why he thinks the mustang has been able to endure and its competitors have gone the way of the dinosaur and does he see a market big enough for the return of those dead cars.

Would You perform in a Ford commercial similar to the Buick's commercial with Harley Earl?

Do You think that times when car design was the most important factor are coming back?

Ask him, please, what he thinks makes the retro styling of the 2005 Mustang so appealing to people?

Thats just awesome Brad! Ok, here are my questions: How do you like the 2005 Mustang? Do you like its throwback to the '67s and older 'Stangs? What do you think sells the '05; power, styling, or nostalgia (sp) ?
