Egged!!!

I woke up to this at 7:00 this morning:

I live on a nice quiet street in Gilbert. I've never had any trouble with the neighbors. Then some punk kids go and ruin it.

I'm sure it was some teenage vandals. I'd like to

I was able to get the egg off before it did too much damage. But there is damage. I couldn't get a great picture, but there are three spots (in the red boxes) where the paint has been chipped off. It must have been the impact points and the shells cracked the paint.

Anybody know a good paint shop that can fix this?

Was it just your car targetted?

Yeah, mine was the only one. I drove around the street this monring, and didn't see any other problems. But I did find the empty egg carton around the corner. I don't think I was targeted, just random. We'll see if they strike again tonight.

Some peoples' thought processes are really skewed. Looks like the egg was on there for some time before you saw it a 7. Maybe some kids (or adults acting as such) coming home really late from a saturday night club/party/event and thought this was the way to end it. Either way, I hope you get those marks out.

I wish for something monumentally irritating and inconvenient to happen to the people who did this to you. That sucks. Let's just hope they egg someone who sees it happening and finds them.

I hope you get your ride back in shape soon.

According to the neighbor, it was before 11:00 PM. I was outside at 10:00 PM (didn't go to my car, but I would have noticed this). So it happened in that time frame.

The egg came off easier than I expected. I was more worried about the yolk being on there than anything. But it was the shell that actually chipped the paint. So it will have to be repainted.

I wish I had some idea of who did it, but I don't have a clue.

I won't be able to get it fixed for a while, since I'm out of work right now. I've been meaning to get a bunch of chips and dings fixed, so I'll probably just get it all done at once.
