FORD tested my car....

...yep. an additional sticker on my car say's FORD used this vehicle for testing and put 40.5 miles on it, prior to release from them.

Soooo, how can one (me) find out, or get, any documentation on what exactly was done during their "testing". There must be documentation 'somewhere' at FORD on the vehicles they take off the line for testing. Anybody have a resuorce for this. thx

I wouldn't be to concerned. I was told they pull cars off the line and run them on a test track, and then take them back to correct any problems discovered during the test drive.

My '97 Cobra had the same sticker, under the seat. It was the best running car I ever owned, and there were no rattles or squeeks, ever.

I agree. It was a good thing. Just kinda curious as to what they actually did with it. Something must be documented, if only to secure their jobs. Ya see, just another reason we need Z back.

Yeah! Rare, as in, didn't quite make it in turn four, thus the bondo added....

They test cars every day. They used to always put a sticker on the side window. Almost never on a ordered vehicle. How is it that you only found out now?

I've never found the test sticker but then again we've factory ordered all of our Fords except 1.

They do it totally at random..as far as documentation..you might try to contact the Flat Rock Mi plant where they are made and see if you can get any info..be sure to give them your VIN

My Van had that window sticker. It was an Ordered Vehicle.
I don't think it said 'Test' it did say something about random quality control check.

They probably just pick a vehicle to drive to lunch in

Sooooooo, does anybody know who replace Dennis Zeni. He was a contact that could get us anything. He even dug up info on my Mach1, that Ford, through channels, said didn't exist.

Oh, and RC, I guess I owe that Lot kid at the dealership an apology. Thought the fries under the seat were from him.
