I sure would like to know why there is insufficient security at the Flat Rock plant. No explanation given whatsoever. The lowliest cost security guards would see unusual activity and call local law enforcement. I don't like when I have unanswered questions. There really is no excuse for this.

I went in to the Louisville plant years ago to pick up a truck going to California and the security was pretty strict. That is not saying that now that everything is Electronic thieves can make phony badges to get in on none security monitored gates.
Once your in the unlocked car everything is in it.

Exactly. Especially since its happened multiple times in the last few years, also heard about some Raptors being stolen. Doesn't inspire much confidence for customers, especially people that buy that type of car. People that ordered one 8 months ago, can't find out anything about where their order stands from the dealer, Ford, Ford Performance, etc. Then they hear these are stolen, driven the hell out of, crashed etc. and it might be theirs. And Ford will patch them up and send them right to the dealer and they never have to disclose any of that. Should make a customer that's paying over $100K for a Mustang feel real good about their purchase. Good job Ford. Keep it up. Maybe ask some of the dealers to share the 10 to 50 thousand dollar mark ups with you to improve security.

Five GT500 cars were stolen from the Michigan assembly plant as well.
