There is no "slop" in the 2 piece driveshaft. I've reposted Bullitt engineer's TMS comments many times to correct that false rumor. Search is your friend.

3. The performance level

I can honestly say that there is not one thing that I dislike about this car. I like everything about it and I have full intentions of keeping it until its paid off and then buying another one.

I still experience it about the same as in my '07 GT. It's not quite as frequent, but it does happen.

There is no roll in on the 2 pc. Look for driveline lash elsewhere.
I don't want to distract the thread so give this post (and thread) a read. Note the suggested driver mod in a few posts.

Got to say this is my favorite car ever... Even better than my '67 S code fastback. Still would like to have that one back, but...

Ok likes:
1. Looks, sleek, mean, bad a** looks. Head turner where ever I go.
2. Sound. Roush AB's are awesome. Would like to add some side pipes.
3. Handling, even with the solid rear axle. This car is amazing.

extra #4 Glasstop!

Dislikes:
1. No Spare Tire.
2. Console design is lacking (Cup holder position, no up front storage like the '67)
3. Sync could be better.

All my dislikes are pretty minor and I can live with them. Seen many more issues on several cars I have had over the years.

This one's a keeper.

2013 V6 premium with standard shift and Pony package

Likes;
how the car looks
how the car drives rowing through the gears and the electronics package
the heritage of the Mustang

dislikes;

ergonomics, should have a telescoping steering wheel
trying to keep a black car clean
does not have the V8 rumble

summary; its a just a fun car to drive. Like a fast luxury car.

Speed--171+ @ Talladega
Handling--Lapped Barbers almost as fast as Mustang Challenge Race Cars!
Looks--I wanted a Cobra R...but was unable to get one so I built a clone in white.

Honorable mention...GAS Mileage 22-23 in city/26-27 on highway!!

Dislikes:
OLD-almost 15 years old and 40K miles.
Ride--a little rough with adjustable shocks on 5.
Transmission-works great...but only a 5 speed

In the wife's 07 Mustang top 3 likes:

Amazing sound from the exhaust, get compliments and people saying they can't believe a V6 sounds so good multiple times a week.

I love the stock stereo. The Shaker 500 sounds really good. Clear, good bass, loud, and has an aux port.

Car just plain looks sexy!

Top 3 dislikes:

The car weighs 50 tons under the hood and about 10 lbs in the rear. (exaggerating obviously) So easy to lose grip in that rear wheel drive when it gets wet out.

Because of her tune and the fact that we drive mostly city she gets around 12 mpg on average.

No bluetooth because it was an 07.

In my project 05 Mustang, I'll list the things working under the assumption that it wasn't in terrible condition when I bought it.

Top 3 likes:
It's a Mustang, and it's the same color as my wife's Mustang, so it makes for cool his and hers cars.

The Shaker 1000 stereo is even better than my wife's.

The windows. Silly as it sounds, I love that BOTH windows have automatic down AND automatic up. You take those things for granted, then I get in my saturn which only have automatic down on the driver's window, not the passengers, and has no automatic up. You forget how irritating it is to do something simple like have to sit there and hold the window up button.

Top 3 dislikes:
It's an automatic. Normally I'd never buy a sport's car in automatic, but given the deal that I got (see my sig) I couldn't pass it up.

It has no aux port in the 05 like my wife's does, I have to use CD's. I hate that.

The stock wheels are so ugly. I can not wait to replace them.

This should be easy:

Likes:

1. The 5.0 is one of the best V8 engines on the planet.
2. It roars and crackles and is full of drama and theater when I drive it.
3. It's a Mustang.

Dislikes:

1. Cup holder position.
2. Cup holder position.
3. Cup holder position.

Seriously what was Ford thinking when they put the cup holders right behind the shifter?

Maybe somebody needs to get on the ball and start marketing those can holder hats with the flexible tubing/straws and a running pony on the headband?

I guess it's all relative....the cup holders in the Mazda 3's were the same way, so that killed a purchase right off the bat, a few years ago. I love, love, love the Mustang, and so, the cup holders got a pass!

On my Roush:
Likes:
1. The power and the sound
2. The versitality of it. It can be a raging monster on the track with handling direct and on point, then on the way home its a comfortable smooth ride that doesnt get half bad gas mileage on the highway.
3. Drop dead gorgeous
Dislikes:
1. SYNC SYNC SYNC my god I hate SYNC
2. Uhm...
3. Ah...

Can't really find much to complain about this car. Sure as some people pointed out the cup holder position sucks, but it never is used in my car, so it doesn't bother me. The back seats are a pain to get in and out of, but I have yet to have a two door sports car that is easy to get in and out of the back. So again can't really complain about that either.

Not trying to be a jerk here but just pointing out that we knew the Boss was going to come up short in the luxury features because that's what the original Boss was. It was a no frills bad boy! If you wanted other options than you knew not to order/buy the Boss? :-)

Too much hard plastic in interior for price (2010 GT Premium)
Not enough range in tilt wheel
Lack of front-to-back adjustment in headrests (ended up reversing them)
