Totally agree - and I miss the extra slight hump in the center of the 11/12 vs. the 13/14 20 acres of level land across the top, particularly on the V6 since it doesn't even have louvers to help break up the space visually. Trying to convince myself it isn't any big deal to spend $1000 on a Stalker hood, lol.

not a big deal at all
I think the stalker hood looks natural. You should go for it

Ha...I like the fuel economy too. The only reason I went with a V6 is my long commute, and the reality is, I could drive it like I want to, and not take as big a hit on the mpg, like I would if it were a V8. What fun is a V8 if you are constantly driving in conservative mode for the sake of mileage? I see LOTS of that here in the Bay Area. High powered cars (of all types) slugging along at 60-65 mph. No thanks! LOL

And so....you must be an 80 (plus?) driver like me. My case is made right there, haha. 14.8, wow! Right now, I am getting 23-24 combined with a 60/40 hiway/city mix. I can get around 27-28 with an 80/20 split. And that is doing 80 most of the time, some 65-70 thrown in when the blue lights are around, lol.

You're either having some fun or lots of stop and go traffic.

2014 Ruby Red GT track pack

Likes:

1. Engine- the noise with Gt500 axlebacks. The power.

2. The color- Ruby red is unique and striking, even for someone like me who usually dislikes red cars. Beautiful color on the mustang with the black bits.

3. The simplicity- best example: you can shut off the odometer and information other than the speedo and tach. Just a great car to hop in and cruise at any speed. Definitely an excellent grand tourer from the factory.

Could go on-

Dislikes:

1. Cup holder design = failure. No need to elaborate.

2. Shifter/trans a little sticky at times... Looking into some remedies. Feels excellent once warmed up but it's definitely a little choppy when cold. Makes me miss my focus sometimes.

3. Bluetooth audio/ phone mic SUCKS! my focus ST was a great place to make a phone call... The combination of the crumby mic and all the road noise from the stock pirellis and exhaust, and it makes for a frustrating experience... Have to yell, and have succumbed to just using the phone like normal... Which defeats the purpose of hands free. The system works fine, it's just the mic being not sensitive enough.

(Left out stock Pirellis and their road noise and fast wear and high cost of maintenance by comparison to my previous car... Lots of oil lol)

Ehh I pretty much max out at 80. Nowhere to go above that around here. I was driving around town all week, and well...when you have a full catback...you tend to wind out the gears a bit

That and my cousin's test drive didn't help LOL

Well I didn't say my one time flat out runs, just that I "usually" drive no faster than 80

1) The live-ability of the convertible with the top up. 2 cars in one and I like them both!
2) Factory HIDs.
3) Performance (handling and acceleration)

Dislikes
1) Pirellis @ 35,000kms. Grippy in the corners but can too easily be overwhelmed by the right foot. Every start with even mild enthusiasm is a tail-wagging thing.
2) Gigantic blind spot (made somewhat better with the blind spot mirror)
3) Cup holders too small.

Had this car since around Halloween and I'm still in the Honeymoon phase.

Not sure if I like Pirellis either. Cup holders are not in the right postion, too awkward to get to when driving.

i'm with you on those likes and dislikes too, but i had ordered new rubber and wheels before i even took delivery. I find the rear view mirror too large too, and considering replacing it with s slimmer version.
Cup holders suck for coffee, so i gave up on that

Well, it doesn't take long to get sick of the non-returning seat backs! Had to get stuff in and out of the back seat yesterday and found myself pretty irritated, lol.

Agreed on the mirror. When my 5' wife has driven the car before me (6'2" and it's all upper body), she hauls the mirror down to her height, and when I get back in, I have to remember to push it up, then adjust, otherwise it sits lower and it can hide where a car is at a 4 way stop. I have this problem on many cars, not just the Mustang.

On my old car, I added another metal thing on the windshield that the mirror can attach to so that this wasn't a problem - might end up investigating this for the Mustang...

I can't get her out of it, for obvious reasons, and also because of the heated seats - both my daughter and she like them on the cold winter mornings!
