The seat heat control in the 07 is just below the A/C controls. One control for the driver and one for the passenger.

PS, the SVE Drifts were on sale for Black Friday for $475 shipped. I really wish I waited. I love my new wheels but I would've been perfectly happy with the Drifts for less than half what I paid for mine! I could've gotten all my Roush splitters and lower grille delete with those savings!
Well, so far, courtesy of you: I should have a shaker hood, springs, struts, exhaust, new wheels, new stripes.....umm, did I miss anything? LOL. I'll send you my PO Box so you can mail me a check!

Ok, I'll play. '06 Mustang GT 5sp coupe, HP/Dark Charcoal, aka Awesome.

Likes:
1 - I still, to this day, love the way she looks. I grin still when I'm walking to her at the end of a workday. "Yay! I get to drive that good lookin' beast!"
2 - I still, to this day, enjoy driving her like no other car I've owned. Ever. It is a joy to me.
3 - I still, to this day, love my little mods, mostly visual, here and there that make her more and more Awesome and unique. Slowly but surely.

Dislikes:
1 - The aluminum hood. I love the simple shape, it appeals, but... paint. 'nuff said.
2 - 1-2 shift. TR3650. Yep.
3 - Charging system/battery. 4 batteries, 5 alternators. It's just... a thing, apparently, with mine.

But these disklikes are minor, seriously. Even the alt/battery, because they're pretty easy to replace, and the alt is under warranty forever, and so it's a small 'put up with' thing for me. And so far, she's not stranded me anywhere... *knocks on wood*

I love love LOVE my Mustang!

Haha....well at the rate I am going, and no agreement from hubs, I'll never run the risk of getting yelled at about boxes arriving. He's being super weird about this car, I swear. We share one of our motorcycles, and he coulda cared less what I decided to do to it...paint, wheels, hardbags, I just went for whatever I wanted. He even agreed to Canyon Coral and Shadow Gray paint (I was kinda shocked!)......But this car? I think I'm just gonna start ordering, lol.

Houtex, it is great to see so many people still in love with their Mustangs, even after having them for quite awhile. And the "dislike" lists are pretty minor overall, also good to see!

Keep on enjoying!

4: believe it or not-gas mileage. Regularly 22mpg and as high as 26mpg. Compare a 1970 Boss 302 with less HP-probably 9/10mpg

Dislikes
1: the way the mileage keeps piling up-I'm using it up too fast
2: the color-only one other with the same color in town and I've never seen the stripe combo-anywhere. REAL easy to describe to the cops if I let it loose.
3: not enough storage in cabin and lack of seat back memory

Tam, check the "Katzkin" after market covers. They have original stitching if you want in all colors. I had a set in my previous "11 F-150, they look great, and are very durable. Reasonably priced also.

1. The Power and Glory (read the roadrunner/coyote V-8 with TracKey) of the modern Boss 302;
2. The way it handles and stops, Ford finally got the live axle properly tamed;
3. The sound with the restrictor plates removed from the exhaust.

Dislikes:

1. The interior's plastics are too hard and cheap looking;
2. Again the interior, any color you like, as long as it's black;
3. The headlights could be brighter on the 2012.

The Boss is a special purpose 'stang, no doubt. While having very little luxury, and a basic interior package, it makes a great long distance vehicle, as you can really take advantage of the speed and handling, arriving fresh after 500 miles.

  • Cheap door panel inserts - I hate how they are delaminating
  • Auto dimming mirror that never seems to dim at the right time
  • Corrosion issue with the aluminum hood - yeah I'm going to have to get the hood repainted at some point.

1. While the weight distribution is front heavy the steering is spot on. The most neutral steering in any Mustang I've driven. It's connected to the road but so completely different feeling than any car. So fun to drive.
2. The ultimate in simplicity
3. Instantly recognizable. It's red and it has a big wing and ridiculous front splitter.
Dislikes
1. No AC but I can live with that
2. No radio but I can live with that
3. Fuel cell bladder usually only good for 10 years at a time. Over $2k for replacement.

1. Motor. Motor. Motor. Trinity. 662bhp!
2. The glass roof.
3. Effortlessness. Doing 90 feels like 30 in any other car.
Dislikes
1. Goodyear Supercar tires suck ***. Almost any other tires including a truck tire would probably be better.
2. Stereo sucks
3. Did I mention the tires suck. At least if they are gonna suck in the rain and cold they should be good in the summer heat but they suck there too.

Thanks, I checked them out....but the interior leather will probably be the last thing done, if at all. The Katzkins are very nice though!

Have to agree the cupholders are in a bad position, you have to do a back bend arm exercise to get them out.

3 - The performance and the mileage - yeah; I have plenty of fun with the V6 and SelectShift automatic
4 - The electronics (most of the time)

Dislikes:
1 - Ditto on the seat back not returning to the same spot
2 - Lack of a telescoping steering wheel
3 - Visibility out the back with the top up, but that's solved by putting the top down

My favorites are:
Looks
Looks
Looks.

My dislikes are...
--ergonomics. designed for people with ape-like arm length.
--automatic behavior. spongy, mushy reactions. I need a custom tune.
--the way the hood splits to the grill on my 14. It should overhang the grill like 11/12.
