Cleaning dried oil off of a car.

Can it be done? Some has been on for about a weeks now, and all the scrubbing that I do, nothing happens.

They took up all of the cement streets in my neighborhood, and replaced them with asfault. It's nice now, but when they were putting the oil on the ground daily, I had to drive through it. Can it be scrubbed and waxed off? Or does it have to be stripped off and repainted? Or even sandblasted!?

I love how they decided to put this crap on the streets without consulting the homeowners first. NEVER LIVE IN A SUBDIVISION WITH A HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION!!!!!!

a good cleaner wax should take it off with some elbow grease lots of it. wd-40 may cut through it pretty quickly. You would need to wash and wax after words

That oil is actually Tar. Gasoline works good. Just wash it with Dawn immediatly!

Update: I used the gasoline, and I think I let it sit too long on a few places because I can see a pink tint in some spots. But the good news, all of the tar is gone now. Soon, I'll be putting that clay stuff on the car and waxing her down. My baby is going to shine again!
