Class action lawsuit for bubbling hood problem
Hi everyone, when I owned my 99 gt I had a problem with a cracked plastic manifold which caused a continuous loss of coolant. I was not alone with this problem to make a long story short there was a class action lawsuit that ford lost and had to replace god knows how many manifolds along with mine for free. It was found to be a manufacturing flaw. I believe our bubbling hood issue is also a manufacturing flaw. I don't know how the lawsuit started, but maybe we have a lawyer who is a member of tms who can lead us to getting our bubbling hoods fixed. Ford turns a deaf ear to our problem and that is not right.

I agree with everything you just said. the problem has been around for far too long for them to just look the other way. I don't have my stock hood anymore so I don't know if I would be able to jump on the band wagon.

True enough, and the lawyers all win.
But in this case, I think it's not all that unwarranted, as they don't seem to be hearing us as a group OR individually. A class action will cover us all easier than us in individual cases, and it will be one and done. Either way it goes.
