Caught me a "coaling" pickup driver!!! :)
So yesterday I just got done washing my car and am heading home and while I am behind a pickup truck at a stop light and I see this big GMC come flying up behind me and when the light turns green he jumps over to the left lane and guns it right by me and “coals” me. Unfortunately for me I had my windows down.
So at the next stop light I come up alongside this d-bag and tell him “wow cool, you got smoke but your truck is slow”, to taunt him as I already had a plan in my mind.
That light turns green and I take off quickly and I am doing about 45 in a 35 and I know that around the next bend in 2 stop lights is the courthouse and Sheriff’s Department. J
So I look back and I see black smoke pouring from his tailpipe and he goes flying by me doing at least 80 mph and sounding like a freight train! Right before we hit the bend I am coasting at this point and I look to my right and at the stoplight is a city cop J I knew he was busted!
The cop flipped his lights on for a bit and as I am making the curve I am watching in my rearview and the cop shut his lights off, but by this time the truck is HARD on his brakes. But I glance back again and the cop jumps out and gets in the lane behind the truck and the truck makes a quick turn off, but by this time the cop has his lights going.
I circled back and took some side streets and found the cop had him pulled over and the driver was out of the car. I LOL’ed so hard!! I kept my distance and then drove home.
I could have taken the higher ground, but these d-bags and their “coaling” really gets on my nerves so I had to try to taunt him and see if I could get him to fall into my trap and it worked.

When diesels are tuned or modded slightly( black smoke mean unburnt diesel fuel) they can pour out smoke on command(flooring it really) its normally called rolling coal/black smoking.
but do not under estimate those trucks you can get your butt handed to you easily.

A diesel with a tune can be made to pour out black smoke under hard throttle. It's actually a very rich condition and not efficient, but some idiots like described in the first post think it's cool. They purposely get on the throttle to smoke out whoever is next to them. It's more than just fumes.

Oh I don't under estimate them, I just wanted to see if he would go flying by the police station and he did and got busted
