Cant get into car
All 2004 Mustangs have a key cylinder in the doors. Both sides. Unless I'm mistaken and that car is *really* special...
So, with that, if yours has no keyhole on either side, then it's been removed/vandalized, and you should get a new set complete with ignition cylinder so the three will match like they should. Or if the key you have doesn't work in the doors, then the ignition cylinder is likely mismatched, probably due to it being replaced, and the door key is missing, hence the issue maybe?
In any event, the call to a locksmith to get in the car is a good call,
And the new set of keys/ignition/door cylinders, an example, notasponsor.
One more thing: You can open the hood of that Mustang, as the latch is exposed there, so you should be able to figure out how to unlock it from the grille/under the bumper. Think you can just pull on the cable firmly, but not yanking, and it should maybe get to where you can trip it open. Plug in a charger, voila, fob is working... maybe.
Hope that helps, good luck, and I don't think anyone said this... Welcome to the forums!

well I was thinking cut a hole in there using a diamond cutter but cut the hole at an angle like you would a pumpkin. That way you can just glue it back in after you get in the car.
