you have to take out the seats and loosen parts of the side panels in the rear, then lift up the entire area where the speaker is. Sounds like alot...not bad as it sounds though, about a 15 minute job.

Nope,
Just take a small flat bladed screwdriver and gently pry up on the grille at the inner front corner and remove it-it just snaps in place, four screws hold speaker in place, use caution not to damage defrost grid when removing screws and speaker.

So when you mean inner front corner, are you reffering to the corner thats closest to the window?

Inboard front corner of grille. Toward center of car.

Getting the screws out IS a pain; first of all, they're hex or torque screws. I had success, tho, with a hex wrench set that has varying sizes and folds up like a jacknife... cost me probably 7 bucks ten years ago, but folds up enough to fit the back screws. Good luck.

Tiberious, where did you get that PDF? I needed to replace the inner rubber gasket on my windows because the factory gasket/regulator scratched my windows, and it would have been nice to have a drawing like that.
