Camaro5...ROFL!
I think this quote from post #19 ultrazls1 verified that mullet heads have minds of mush:
He's bragging about a 6.2 beating (allegedly) a 4.6. He is bragging for nothing. He makes me laugh.
I think he's sniffed too much glue.
So like I said you are bragging for nothing. We had a reason to brag before...we were spanking that little 4.6 by over a half second son. Now you are nutting over one test that shows a .1 tenth difference with the same trap speed. You make me laugh.

Now while I am totally stoked on the 2011 mustang, and it is definitely the one I am going to buy, you have to admit that what some of the mustang posters are doing on C5 is wrong. Say the 2011 Camaro specs come out and it is a ton better than the new mustang (not going to happen, but run with it) or even look at what happened with 2010 Camaro and 2010 Mustang specs and comparos; If they were doing that stuff here, you guys would be up in arms. The 2011 mustang will win the day vs the 2010 camaro, and probably the 2011 (we can't say for sure, they haven't released the specs yet), but what is going on there is exactly the same stuff gave the camaro5 guys a bad reputation. The key is to be a good winner.
Now I just have to wait till I can test drive a 2011 6speed GT and I am all set

No it's a 5.0L Per motortrend.
After a 16-year hiatus, the 5.0 has returned in the 2011 Mustang GT and, yes, at 4951cc, it now officially displaces five full liters.

your method the Camaro would be a 6.1

There's good people in every community but in general there's a lack of mature/rational/objective thought on Camaro 5. The folks I would expect better from, the mods, can be the worst. I read it for humor. By the way, has anyway seen real updates for the Camaro? Except for rumors at the local mullet hair salon, I haven't heard anything. Gears are the only real option open to GM.

LOL, I work with a guy who looks like that all the time ... every time I see him, it's all I can do to keep from laughing, and I can't stop thinking "looks like I picked a bad time to stop sniffing glue"

what is funny is you guys are trashing them for being petty and stupid, but there is a whole group of "them" that are talking up the new mustang and saying that they hope GM steps up.
So with all the mullet and dumb comments going on here, it is actually worse here than at Camaro5.
edit: dumb spelling.....
holy $hit, 5.1 for the V6, thats BADASS!
I considered a new 11 GT and still like them. I think it`s good that ford got back into the game like chevy did last year. I think it`s splitting hairs in performance.... if you have 2 profesional drivers maybe the mustang for the win but "average Joe" could lose driving a vette against a good camaro or mustang driver. All in all it`s all good and no hate... 400 plus hp muscle cars FTW for everyone
Well the Mustang is the only muscle car that did not end it's production run after it's initial introduction in the 60's... So that alone should say that Ford has been doing something right over the years.
Chevy did put out an awesome car for '10 and I would expect them to throw in some competitive upgrades for the '11 model year.
And don't hate me for this, but if it wasn't for the exterior of the Mustang which in my opinion doesn't look as nice as the Camaro, I'd seriously be checking one out at a Ford dealership right now... (to see if I could fit in one. I'm tall) Not only because of the performance #'s but because of the factory installed options. Have you guys gone to the Ford web site and seen all the options they offer? They have quite a few that Chevy does not.
