8 minutes into the second show of Alcatraz they show the main characters standing in front of a car in an alley for just a second. Took me a second, but I was like "Was that a '68 Mustang in Highland Green?".

So I rewound and watched in slow motion, and sure enough, there it was. I didn't see it in the first episode, but in the preview for episode 3, the lead character is shown driving it again.

So all you Bullitt and '68 fans, keep an eye out for more appearances in Alcatraz on ABC.

 

I thought I saw the same thing, but then I was like "naw, couldn't be." I'm going to give it a few episodes, but it looks like it could shape up to be a good show.

Oh, and it's on FOX, not ABC.

 

I noticed it too. It's driven by Rebecca, the female detective. Looks just like the original Bullitt, as far as I can tell.
