Bye Bye GRAYPNY

Well after almost 7 years I sold GRAYPNY to a friend of mine. He will take good care of her and it was sad to see her going down the road.

Before you ask I am retiring April 27th and I just needed to get rid of some toys.

Rich ~

OMG Rich. This is very sad. Very sad. I've loved your car since I first joined here and it only got better with age. She will be missed here.

Retiring and getting rid of toys? Heck, that's when you're supposed to start buying toys, gotta spend your kid's inheritance.

I am heartbroken as your car was a source of inspiration for my own Mineral. It is satisfying to know she went to a good home.

Rich,
Quite a shock. Great ride you had. Your friend is getting a great deal. Hope you still visit here. Enjoy your retirement!

Hey Rich,
Glad you made it to retirement!! Lord knows I can't wait. You and your car has always been one of my favorites on this site. I guess I have been here as long as you and your posts and what you did to your car always inspired me. Just because you don't have the car anymore doesn't mean you can't post! Good luck and hope for a very, very long retirement for you!!
Scott

Thanks for all the kind words and I will still be lurking in the bushes.

Selling the car was very bitter/sweet! When you get the right buyer and the price you want then it's time to let go. I'm sure he will take good care of the car and it will stay in his family for a long time.

Rich - I know the feeling. I had to sell my Corvette a while back.

By the way, love your wheels.
How did you manage to get by without a front plate? Is that not required where you are?
