I really don't think this is anywhere near happening. That info has been on movies.go.com for years now with no updates. And IMDB.com, which is a movie fact site, has nothing listed on Wolfgang's profile about Bullitt. Ever since the 2004 Mustang concepts were unveiled as having a retro design, people have been talking about a Bullitt remake.
