boss or gt?

hello new to this site. I am thinking of getting a mustang and would like the know what the differences in the boss and gt. I know it has a different intake but is that the only differences in the engine? is it possible to get a gt and ad parts to get it to handle like the boss? also what kind of mpg are you getting with the v8? thanks for your help

Yes, with the right Steeda parts ... we can definitely get you a more powerful / better handling car than the Boss 302.

The Boss 302 is a great car ... but even we were able to take it to the next level.

Here is a video that was done in regards to taking a stock GT suspension & taking it to the next level:

Let me know if we can help achieve your goal!

Best Regards,

TJ

A Boss 302 is a neat car, but some options you can get on the GT, you cannot on the Boss. That is something to keep in mind, leather, Shaker system, Automatic transmission, glass roof, and more.

I would take a Boss over a GT, no questions asked. It's a limited edition car and it's one of the coolest Mustangs ever made.

I think I'd take the Boss if I wasn't planning on changing anything on the car. I'd do the GT if I planned on upgrading anything.

Boss, for the uniqueness of it. Its a car with a soul and it's got some history. Yea, it doesn't have leather or a nice sound system or even GPS but it has more power, forged internals, quad exhaust, Better handling out of the box and cool graphics. It sounds AWSOME too. Oh, yea, and they were only available in 2012 and 2013.

GT: because they don't make the Boss anymore (or more correctly-right now). If you want a stiletto for track days and an automotive toy-hunt down a Boss. If you want a car to use regularly, often, and one you can park almost anywhere without paranoid induced facial tics about having it stolen-get the GT. Like mine

All things considered, I'd get a Base GT, and Boss it up with mods. You can make a base GT handle better than a Boss, and keep up with one in terms of speed, and you've still spent less than you would if you'd bought a Boss that you would be (rightfully) reluctant to mod anyway. A Boss is actually more rare than a Shelby of similar vintage.

Of course, all of what I is said under the assumption you're a car guy that would rather make your car what you want rather than buying it already built the way the manufacturer thinks you want it.

If you have no use of a warranty i say go with the GT and mod the crap out of it.
