I'm sure there are other threads on this but I'm a bit pissed to search. Must have happened over the weekend, i do recall hitting a pretty heafty pothole. Where exactly i don't remember. This must have happened saturday night. Didn't drive much on sunday. Leave for work today and notice something wrong. Long story short. Rim ends up being bent. New one on the way. AWESOME.

Living in michigan has its down falls. Can't i get re-reimbursed by the road commission?

seriously doubt it. Potholes blow. I hit a section of road that didnt exist late one nght, with no markings or warnings, and thought for sure I had broken or punctured something.

One of my friends bent one of his, on some repairs the city made on a road, and the city had to foot the bill.

since i had nothing else better to do i decided to email the road commission for my area. i actually recieved a prompt reply regarding the pothole and they gave me info on how to see if i have a valid claim for reimbursement (i for the life of me can't spell that word..thanks spell check). They said a couple weeks so ill update with any progress.

No way!!! If I did that in nc they would say something like we might have someone come look at it within the next few months.
