Another Forum member GT500 accident

Frank4Cars from supercars.net (any probably more) forums. Missed his 2nd to 3rd shift, probably went into 1st and locked the wheels and lost control, killing a innocent pedestrian

oh dear god that's horrible..
It's so sad that someone lost their life to this, but how could one miss 3rd and end up into 1st?
You'd have to force the gear in SO hard to actually get back in 1st :S

That's horrible.

I would have guessed that he was accelerating and when he upshifted the tires broke loose causing him to spin. I remember the video of that happening in an 03/4 cobra and the idiot crashed into stopped oncoming traffic.
