Adaptive HID's?

My salesman told me today that the HID package which comes with the GT/CS are actually adaptive HID's. Nothing in the info packages suggest this nor does any of my searching online.

Can anyone confirm if the HID addon package are actually adaptive HID's? Thanks.

Means they change direction based on the angle of your turn. The headlights actually have little servo motors in them slightly pointing them left or right so your lights are shining around curved roads and not straight into nothingness.

I thought it was pretty fancy they use a servo for low to high beams. Didn't know they did left/right.

They don't. Lexus and a few others do, but AFAIK none of the Fords do.

Or course its nothing new, the Tucker had that in 1948.

Not a 'Ford' but a FORD, the MKS has HIDs that do, indeed, have servos that turn the headlights when you turn.

Being that i havent driven my 5.0 yet due to being in Afghanistan for another couple of months, I cant confirm that this applies to its HIDs.

I had an MKS for a while, and it had this feature. Kind of cool but only useful in country roads.

The Mustang does not have this. The salesman is misinformed
