5.4/4,6 heads?
#2
Some 4.6L heads can mount on 5.4L short blocks.
They are both modular motors, meaning that hte parts should be able to interchange. with just SOHC heads, I wouldnt worry with it at all.
The 5.4L navigator heads are some of the highest flowing heads out there, and i've seen many people put those heads on their blower cars since they are a 4v head and make alot of power.
There's alot of different heads and combinations out there. To many to list. Search around the internet and talk to various engine builders, thats where you best info will come from.

Nick is pretty much right, but in some instances, some things dont match perfectly. Especially when going from a romeo block to a windsor etc....
