Bullitt owners disagree. As do Track Pack owners.

I looked for a track pack vs track genesis comparison but it looks like no one wasted their time comparing the two

The new Genesis Coupe is pretty mean and can get the mustang 6 in a straight line, I think it even won in the comparison against the v6 w/ track pack.. (don't hold me on this, there's a comparison on youtube)
Obviously the main drawback is that the Genesis is a bit pricier, really the only drawback. Like Ibnzmonkey said if you want a great v6 the Genesis is BUILT with the v6 in mind.
However you can get pretty close performance with the Mustang and probably save a couple grand. It also depends on your tastes/styling...etc.

First, everyone stop saying the v6 comes with a track pack option because it doesn't. There is no track pack option. It has a "performance pack" option which only includes better springs in the front, the Boss 302 strut tower brace & a larger sway bar as far as suspension goes and you get GT brakes and 19" wheels. Not even close to track ready when compared to cars that come with a legit "track pack" such as the 5.0 w/ track pack, a Boss, or I would even say the Genesis. What I was saying was if you take a v6 premium and add a full suspension yourself along with a few power mods you would out do the Genesis and come out paying less. Stock vs stock yes the Gensis is better but its still not a fair fight since we are not given the same kind of options.

There's no question the Mustang V6 is a price point/mpg car. Ford does a great job in that bracket. And Korea tries to beat those by a bit with cheap labor/subsidies.

As for pigeon-holing the Mustang line across the board - because someone chooses the price point/secretary's car - is stoopid.

The problem is, these guys are trying to pull a motor-trend on you. Take a 5.0 convertible, put every option in it known to man then compare it to a Bare bones ZL1 on the track, because their "similarly" priced.

Unless we start discussing a "worthwhile" Genesis, I'm done with this thread.

Lol yea pretty much. What happened to the OP? We have been going on and on off topic with no word from him. Back to the orginial post. Mustang v6 is WAY better than a Camaro v6 in every way (looks, HP, being able to see out of..lol) imho but then again I'm baised On Mustang #4 now!!

Amen brother. I can't believe I wasted energy talking about some lame @ss ugly Genesis coupe tin-can POS. Clearly the guy was trolling because no one really gives a crap about that car....especially in this forum. Buy American. Nuff said.

Agreed! P.s pretty grim when the general consensus would rather talk about a Camaro than a Genesis coupe. Tells us just just how low on the totem pole those cars really are,
