Any pros and cons about 08-09 shelbygt500kr? If it costs 35,000 more to produce, than a basic 500, why can you pick one up approximately the same as a basic 500? I have a 13 boss 302 naturally aspirated. Is the supercharged 500's annoyingly loud whining? Thanks

 

I can't speak to the pricing, but I can about the supercharger. If the KR is like my previous '04 F-150 Lightning, you won't hear the supercharger until you mash the go pedal to play mode. Then it emits some beautiful music.

 

Just as Jim (wanted33) mentioned in his post response, you don't actually hear the supercharger whine until you put your foot down upon the throttle... All Eaton/Roots style PD blowers are designed in that manner...
