Officials with the "2011 Midlands International Auto Show" (Omaha Ne.) informed me, that Ford may have a BOSS 302 in the FORD display,,, but not yet confirmed.

I have sent an email to, Ford Sales Zone Manager, asking, if it can be confirmed, I'll post answer the second I receive it.

This is possibly/hopefully great news for those of us who live in the Midwest, I have been dying to see one in person and now we may have a chance.

Omaha? Why Omaha? There's nothing there but cows and corn!

 

If there is a Boss there take your VOC or DORA and ask them to open it up for you if it's locked. I did that last weekend in San Jose and they quickly opened up the car for me.

 

Awesome. I will be going to this show Boss or no Boss but if it's there I will be taking a ton of pictures.

 

Awesome! Be sure to let us know if they'll have a Boss there and like 5.0 said I'll bring my DORA so hopefully I can at least sit in it. The track we run most often is just 18 miles south of Omaha. If you miss turn 1 at the end of the long straightaway you have to dodge the cows before you hit the corn field

 

The track I run on is 1/2 mile to the south of the pictured track that you run on.

I'd say it's gonna be there based on the short reply from representative from auto show.

Too funny! It was just a joke. I was raised in Omaha, still have family there, and I'll be visiting in a couple of weeks.

I can't wait to hear about your track experiences in the BOSS. I'll be running mine at VIR.

 

NP, I took it that way Wow VIR would be sweet. We go up to BIR sometimes and that is an absolute rush. Mile long front straightaway into a 60 degree banked corner. The aero package would come in handy there

I'm planning to get to Barrett Jackson again this year, Ford usually has a very large display, so I'm assuming they will have both a street BOSS and LS on display.

I'll share whatever video and pictures I'm able to get. I think I'll be there next weekend.

Has a Boss appearance been confirmed? Since the Detroit show is a bit light on Boss cars there should be one there. I bet it's the black LS with Parnelli's signature on it. That's the one I sat in last weekend.

Hoping so....just going by LQQK's last post that it will be some kind of Boss. Yep I'll be sure to report back assuming there's one there. Even better would be an engineer's ear I could bend for a while about what mods will work best

 

You may be right, I was just informed that it's supposed to be a LS, not a BOSS 302.

I will have confirmation later this afternoon from an insider.
