PC beach is a 4.5 hour drive for us, stopping in Dothan Al for lunch on the way. Gulf shores(which I hate) is a 4 hour drive. We usually wake up one morning and say- let's go to the beach tomorrow, but this year I have a 4 day trip planned beginning 7/22. My half Bday present.
Going to Universal Studios in 3 weeks(gotta love comped tickets!), and Six Flags 6/26. I love summer!

i wont fail anything for the year, but my science teacher is a idiot, i do well in everything else, stupid science.... Dont worry April, i got grounded from PS2 for 2 weeks cuz of it

My kids just got theirs back the other day.

 

Mine was around that same time but it was when I got my BS Degree in Marketing from the University of Maryland....not that I'm using my degree.

But I just get up each day and do my work to pay the bills....and as a side benefit get to work on everything from a '55 Chevy to a '00 Cobra R....the fringe benefit is that a few of my customers often let me drive them when they aren't using them so they can get exercised and run rather than sit It's nice to go from something like a '62 Impala SS to a T60 Turbocharged 331 GT Convertible....variety is refreshing

 

Work is a friggin drudge.
Thank goodness my hubby makes the real money, so I can do my 20 hours a week and have free time the rest of it.

Speaking of free time- the road is calling me out!

I'm sorry for you....I love my work! I get to build and improve cars for people and the reaction they have when they get them back is great. I never get up and even think about not going to work....I get to do what I enjoy for a living, may not be getting rich and things do often get tight but I am not going to stress out and get a heart attack from doing a job I hate.

Besides....as part of my job I get to work on and drive things like this :

 

It's apart right now....all cuts are made to clearance the Turbo, next is to weld up a few spare holes and paint the engine compartment to match the car....paint the tubular K member yellow as well and then start assembling everything. The SDS and program are here for the engine management too

 

Brad's car is going to be awesome when its done!
