I'm waiting for KC to get back to me on a price for 1 rim. The friggin dealership quoted me $550 for 1 rim, 1 tire, and an alignment...

Yup... On top of that, the stock 17" Bullitt wheels are backordered and the stock 235/55/17 Pirellis are rare. Plus I only need one of each. I'm looking into buying a whole set of wheels and tires instead. *sigh* what a bunch of nonsense. ... Stupid curb.

if its gonna be like $500 anyway, why not uprage to, say, magnums
or torque thrusts or something? and if you get the same size, you can re use some of the tires, right?

Yea, that's what I'm trying to debate. I started a thread in the 2005+ forum asking for suggestions. So far I've found 1 rim + tire for about $400. On Ebay I found 4 bullitts + tires for about $550. Or I have the aftermarket route - Magnums, Black Bullitts, or FR500s. I guess no matter what I'm going to be out of a car til the weekend... just how much am I willing to spend, just to find out something in the suspension/steering is broke too? :scratch:

Totally understandable! Shopping is tiring (believe it or not fellers!) and when you HAVE to shop its not as fun as just going for the heck of it and buying what you want...its buying for what you have to have! Thats what i would do April, just relax and spend the day at home in your pajamas...everyone needs a day or two like that every now and then

Especially when I have been shopping for lights and finally picked them out for the 4th time and am STILL $133 over budget. Oh the house needs this, o it needs that. CRAP! I spent what? AND my new dining room table is freaking expensive and I can't buy it right now.
Or school supplies- that burns me. Buy extra for the welfare kids...How bout get a job?
The only shopping I will be doing in the near future is dinner at Carinos and Groceries at Publix.
