He was on the Horn in SD..Then he went to Aegis training and went to the Ramage in Norfolk via Mississippi.
My baby was the first Ramage baby, and I missed commissioning in Boston cause I couldn't travel- that was 2 weeks before he was born.
I also chose to live in Newport News instead of Va Beach with everyone else. That got him lots of snow days in winter when it snowed up there but not in Norfolk.

I can only imagine the stories. I'm glad I grew up. Well.....a little anyway.
If I don't get selected for Chief I'm planning on retiring in Jan 2008. It's gonna come up quick. I look forward to "not" having to move, go out to sea, or uniforms. Ahhhhhhh, sounds sweet.
Now, where to retire to? There must be Mustang shows in large numbers.

Holy crap-
This one lady waited till her hubby went out to sea......Took off with her LOVAH.....Left her hundred kids(ok ok six) home alone...For days till one climbed out the window and fell and broke its arm.....
Another same story-left kid at babysitters and took off with her lovah....Left note for hubby- Im with my boyfriend, kids at the babysitter. I am not coming back..
Needless, alll this nutsoniess......I didn't socialize much. I thought those ladies were skeevy and creepy and too loose for my liking.......
Mine ever left I went to my Mamas and waited sadly.
PS- Alabama is car show friendly.

Oh Saturday it had to have been over 100 here. I tried to wash Eleanor. Problem is, no matter where I took her in the driveway, the soap kept drying before I could rinse. Rinsed her down good, but nearly fainted from the heat before I could hand dry her with the shammy and detail as usual. So hot I was sick for 2 days after.
She is all spotted and odd now. BUT shes at least bright again.
