Pass, Assume, Mass and any other word with A.S.S in it is filtered out.
We have put up with this for years on EONs sites, but for some reason the word Condominium does not come up often with Condom filtered out

 

Yeah I just saw that on a thread where as.semblies was edited.

Somebody's messing with settings for ridiculous reasons.

The previous filters have been fine.

 

I am the one thats been adjusting the fiters. It should be fine when you say things like assume but if you spell just hte word *** it should be filtered out.

yes I see assume, but assemblies was modified earlier.

 

Well I didnt have them quite right earlier so it prob was posted in the short amount of time i was working on it. Good lord give me a break. In order to fix it I would have to rebuild ALL of hte post index for the forum and for over 1.6 million post, I dont have 7 hours to kill.

 

Gotcha. It's just it was a surprise change. And if you decided to tweak settings today because of a relative newbie complaining, me thinks there's more to the story...

If you are referring to the 'Locked' thread in this section, perhaps you (and others) might have changed your tone if you knew what the person(s) typed to cause him to throw up the 'red flag.' Since you weren't/aren't privy, you need not worry. The situation was handled and dealt with appropriately.

I'm not trying to razz too much, and I don't even know how filters work here, but... that's a messed up filter you're trying to fix, Scothew. I'm so sorry you have to deal with it at all, honest.

Oh, and this thought: Would is be terribly awful if I chose to report anyone trying to get around the filters by postin' pa$$ or c0cked or something like that? Because man, if I can't say it, nobody should be able to! (Those are examples, and not attempts to bypass. They will be the only ones I do.)

Of course its a learning curve and when I reset the filters to where it was previously, i have to do some tweaking. It should be better now.

 

but like i said before, im not runing the reindexes on this stuff to update current post for filters because it would take hours on hours and frankly i cant do it cause i dont have time.
