TMS forums have been very flaky the last few weeks.

I have been trying off and on several times today to do a search and review a few threads. The search works perfectly and (fairly) quickly. But, once I click on a thread to open it (either in the existing window/tab or a new window/tab), it just sits at the "Loading..." state forever.

I have tried FireFox 1.5 as well as IE 6.x. Both browsers give the same results.

I've also noticed a few "The server is too busy at this time..." messages as well. Have we finally brought the TMS forum server to it's knees?

 

Its because Brad and Scott had to cut off some features to reduce bandwidth use in heavy use this month (Detroit, etc). It will probally come back in a while.

 

This is nothing compared to the forum destruction 2 years ago... everything was lost and TMS basically started from scratch

Basically with all the new introductions from the autoshows, there has been a lot more traffic on the site, that's why you have seen the errors

It is a REALLY bad time for the problem though! I REALLY need to get some research done so I can't order the CAI for my GT!

 

problems with pages loading is nothign we have done on purpose. Its strictly the amount of traffic the site is geting right now. We've done all we can to optimize the forum for the traffic. Once we get time again we will look into more options.
