Hello Friends

Greetings all, I found this great forum while looking for any help on the web about my throttle problems. I just bought an 07 Mustang GT Convertible a few weeks ago. I love the car but am already having problems with it. Hopefully I can get it running right soon. Right now it's sitting in my garage and I'm facing having to have it towed 60 miles to the nearest ford dealer since all will do is Idle now since I changed the TPS sensor and reset the battery. None of my mechanic friends have a clue what is wrong with it. I was just trying to solve the hanging up throttle and now I cant even drive it lol. Hopefully the many great Mustang minds here can help me figure out the problem. Thanks and great to meet yall!

Does it throw any codes? Any chance the preload spring was incorrectly clocked? I have read that you need to reset the preload spring by clocking it counter clockwise almost 180 degrees until the spring locks in place. I haven't done this work myself, so I can't be much more help.

Thanks for the input specter. I haven't tried that yet. But for some reason I cant get anything other than Idle and the "angry wrench" and "check engine light" throwing out codes from the tps to the washer fluid is low now. I have ordered a new pedal, will see. Meanwhile I will post on the proper page about my problems and maybe one of the great members who are smarter than me can help lol... Thanks

I'd try the fix I posted before ordering parts.
