It is strange. One of our European members has the same problem. Suddenly he cannot access from home. From anywhere else, but not from home. So it must have something to do with his ISP or Router. He disabled his firewall and still not working. My guess, it is either your Router with its internal firewall or your ISP has for some reason blocked the IP of this forum.

Blocked IP Addresses get a specific error message in all browsers, you'll know it has been blocked. Simple resolving errors or unreachable gateways almost always manifest itself as "404 Page Not Found" errors. The DNS servers that your ISP uses are probably some *nix variant with BIND loaded on what amounts to a workstation which is not an ideal setup. TCP/IP is a fairly robust protocol, but all those packets won't go anywhere unless it knows the proper IP address!

I still have issues connecting. I have to try about 3 or 4 times in a row and then site will connect. Then for a few hours it will connect on the first try. Ideas?

I've been having problems connecting the last few days as well. On our laptop or PC with our Verizon broadband PCMCIA cell card (normal mode of accessing the internet), I haven't been able to access TMS at all, and I still try several times a day. I've had to resoprt to a backup dial-up account on our PC to get on TMS, and it is the only site I've found so far that is affected.

It must be a ISP problem.

For reference, I'm travelling and connecting to TMS with a Verizon broadband card.

Well, my problem connecting seems to have fixed itself, whatever it was. Last night I tried again with my Verizon broadband card and no dice. This morning I got right in. Not sure what changed, but I don't really care as long as I can get in ok.
