Agreed 100% - and I for one would like it to stay that way There are other forums (yes, Mustang specific forums) where 70+% of the posts have not much to do with Mustangs, but other nonsense; most of it written as though it were a 5th grader doing the writing.

I personally find this to be one of the few formus where MOST of the content has some real value.

82,000+ threads and you think 10% of them are NSFW or morally offensive? I gotta agree more with Glenn on that 99% of this site is PG. There is no nudity, no cussing, few threads bashing and/or questioning religion, and most threads that go off-topic based on politics etc. get closed down. I'm reaching for you Cody believe me, but I think saying 90% of our threads are "OK" by your definition may be a bit of a stretch.

I find Codeman's avatar more distasteful than anything that I have ever seen in the "girls" thread. JMO~

I think we all have to think before surfing through threads while at the work place. If the title of the thread makes reference to the content then this becomes somewhat easy. On the other hand, if the title indicates something completely different, things get a wee bit more challenging.

For me personally I really don't mind a site where adults speak to each other like adults. If I wanted to read G rated discussions I'd likely go to Nickelodeon and be shocked by what I'm reading! So long as things are kept from getting out of control I'm a happy camper.

Where I draw the line is at personal attacks, uncomfortable subjects, and gratuitous pic's. I'm honestly not a big fan of religion on the forum either. Though I'm not an atheist I believe that religion is and should remain a personal choice. While I'm thrilled that some believe their destiny is assurred, I'm quite happy knowing that this life is my chance to be all that I can be!!

Why are people on here while at work? Shouldn't you be working instead?

This is by far the cleanest Mustang site. I joined moddedmustangs recenlty and there are some differences. Its real people just not holding back and say anything, ask real life questions, like they had a fight with the gf or a fight , one member just got back from Iraq and needed help. Here I feel like I can look at work at most threds and not worry about the lanquage. Iformation is great and people are friendly.

i didnt realize that the filters were off. well actually there were a couple threads that had a word that i thought was borderline, but nothing that bad. i feel the site is in good shape. I however would not be pissed if there were more restrictions. because i am here to talk about cars, not anything else. For the record i love the "girls" thread, but never look at it at work. oh and i work for the big brothers army. besides this is Brad, and scotts site mainly (IMO) so its their call

**** they're not completely off

I think things have been good around here lately. There's no need for a NWS post. The Ladies w/ an 05 thread has and remains great, but everyone knows what they're going to get when opening it. Now that they've allowed other year Mustang's in but still no nips or cracks, I think it's been moderated well, along with the rest of the threads. If you need to type NWS, then it probably shouldn't be posted at all. Anything more than the Ladies thread belongs on a different site. TV type bad words- fine. A hell here or there never hurt anyone so long as you don't use it so much that you'll end up there. It's nice that we can say the word Suck like my CAI sucks in a lot of cool air. It's nice to be able to talk about Dick Cheney without having to call him **** - (although some people call him that anyways. ) But just as long as we're using those two words separately, and not one after another when talking about a Camaro driver, then it's cool. The members of this forum have done a great job of self-moderating for a long time now.

No you won't because self righteous and ignorant fools like you don't go to heaven you burn in hell. I feel sorry for what a jackass you are, thinking Jesus is the only path to heaven. .
