Search Results
When I do a search on latest posts, I get a list with column headers:
Topic Title, Forum, Topic Starter, Replies, Views, Last Action
While who started the topic is interesting, I'd more like to see when the topic was started. Think this would be a better value than the "Views" or "Topic Starter" columns.
Would it be possible to add this column to the result or allow the user to choose what columns they see?
Thanks.

Hover your mouse over the title of the thread, this will tell you when it was started

Edit: I see in when I list the forums manually, but not in the search results page. This would be a great addition to that page as well.

How about an answer here? Is it outside the limitations of the software?

After breifly looking.. Grantsdale is right. It would require "moding" the code in order to make that happen. I'll look for a pre-made Hack but I dont know if I will find one easily.
I'm not familiar with PHP or Invision software in particular, but is the source available?
I suspect it's just another property of the posting which can be extracted as what the manual forum lists do. They're dynamically generated as well, just not as quickly as the search lists so they must share the same code to some extent.

PhP makes it more complicated. I do remember searching for a mod for this, but no one had made one and honestly I dont know PHP well enough to do it myself. I'll keep my eyes open.
honestly off the top of my head, i wouldnt know which file it is that does it. With IPB and PHP, its a bunch of files and they all end up entwined with each other.
I'll try to find out and let you know.
