I know on the previous setup it was only a few forums and there was a time limit on editing your post. Any more than a couple of hours (it may have been days) and the option went away. If this is not the case let us know.
From a cached google page posted by scothew:
The ability to edit a post automatically goes away after 1440 minutes (1day) from the time your post is made. Its been setup that way for years due to people took advantage of it while trying to sale parts and they came back and would edit their post with a higher price after someone commited to buy it so they could argue and get more money for it.
There were a few other situations which also caused us to remove that feature, cant remember what it was however.

It's the case; I better check my spelling before I post.
There is a spell checker! Click the ABC above the smilies on the right when you are typing a message. It gives you a website link to a spell checker you can install. Once installed, when you click the ABC, it will spell check for you!

This one isn't quite a problem, just an observance.
Why did everything get wiped out from January to September, but our visitor messages are still there? I mean they are clearly messages dated between January '09 and September '09.
