I, for one, am getting sick of all the "I got my 2005 Mustang" threads, and all it is is just text. WTH? What's the point?

Hey, I ordered a Mustang.
Ordered 2005.
I finally did it.
Traded in my car for a Mustang.
I took delivery!!!
Build date notice!

All without pics...all with nothing more than the same ol', same ol' I'm getting/got a Mustang. Ok...that's nice. But forum people would actually want to talk about something more in depth, or at the least comment on the look of it...if there was a picture.

To me, all those "announcements" are nothing more than spam. I would say most of the community would agree since most of the replies are: Pics? Pictures? This thread is worthless without pictures!

I would just suggest that the moderators make a "rule" that no "I got my Mustang" threads should be made if they do not have pictures in them. It would probably cut the "spam" of such threads, and also would definately halt all the "non-constructive" posts in such threads.

 

i agree with you for the most part. Just gotta realize that people are excited about getting their car. Heck I would be as well. I'll look into solutions, thanks for the suggestion
