Wanted to Say hello!
Hi All!!
My name is John and I hail from sunny So. California.
I'm a newbie to this forum, but not to forums in general; I have participated on BMW forums for a few years but I now return to my beloved 5.0L Mustang.
My current car is a 2012 Mustang, but I've owned two other Mustangs prior to this one. I still have my 1993 Mustang LX Special Service Package (pre-owned by the DEA for undercover work) -- I've sold my 1986 LX 5.0 several years ago.
At one time in life I posed as a ASE qualified technician, automotive instructor, mechanical claim administrator and BMW Service Advisor. My current role is a Business Development Center Manager for a BMW dealer.
I've been out of touch with the Mustang community for about five or six years, all the while driving BMW's -- 328i and 335i Coupe which were leases and pretty nice cars.
My current decision was similar to my first 5.0 purchase, moving from my hopped up VW Rabbit to a 5.0L -- now going from a pretty reliable 335i twin turbo to a refined Ford Mustang that makes me giggle like a school girl when I stand on it. The best part is when I"m at work and leaving to get into my car -- the look on some of the sale people faces -- priceless!!
I'm a car guy at heart -- if its fast I'll drive it and have no prejudices in regard to what you drive, as long as you're happy.
I leased the BMW's -- I bought the Mustang!!![Wink](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
thanks for taking time to read...
Keep it under 200mph![Flag](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/flag.gif)
Cheers!
