NIce! It's coming back to me now, didn't you used to live here in GA, south like Valdosta or Warner Robbins or something? Just remember because you were the only other ga member I recall being around, then moved to AR or Oklahoma or that area.

Well, I finally got my new Mustang, 10 years after my last one. I actually got it in December but haven't really gotten around to taking pictures. This was actually what I was planning on ordering, almost exactly, so when I saw it already at a dealer, I had to jump on it. It's a 2024 Atlas Blue Ecoboost with the 101A Package and the Nite Pony package. I LOVE the blue and black combo and even got a GA Aquarium plate partially to match and partially because I thought the Whale Shark and Manta on it were awesome. I LOVE this car and hope to hang on to it for many years to come.

That looks great. Atlas was the only other color in the running for me when I ordered.

Congrats on your brand new "24" Atlas Blue EcoBoost Mustang... She looks absolutely stunning, to say the very least... Meanwhile, thank you for sharing some pics of your new ride and hope you'll also enjoy many great years to come as well.

Twenty years, long time for a forum to remain active!

I picked up a new Mustang this fall - started with a 1965 triple black convertible in college, then no Mustang until 2006 when I bought a triple black Pony convertible. Sold that and ordered a Race Red 2013 convertible - the cursed car according to my wife (tried to add a turbo and blew it up three times). Next was a 2017 white convertible EcoBoost and after moving back to Michigan from North Carolina I decided to trade it on 2019 white coupe EcoBoost with performance package, the red interior, with Recaro seats. But at the track I told my wife that I was having to give point by to the Shelby's and GT's on the straights and my times were suffering so she said, "get the Shelby then or a GT"

Picked up my new 2024 GT this fall, black with performance package, active exhaust, and magneride. Then added a stripe similar to the one on my black 2006:

Winter wheels and snow tires installed

That is really good looking, the more I see the 650 the more I like it. What color is that stripe, gray, silver?

It is gray, but close to a silver. My wife suggested it rather than the white I had on the 2006 because the seat belt has a gray stripe on it.

They are good-looking cars, I went to NAIAS when Ford debuted the S650 there so I could see them first hand. The S650's biggest problem is that people generally are resistant to change and the bad bearings on social media just ran with an early criticism and are running it into the ground. As far as "homages" are concerned Jason Camissa in his Hagerty video on the Dark Horse makes a good case that Ford's intended competitor is BMW rather than aping dead marques.

The giant TV in front of you bothers me the most. Other than that the GT I test drove was a pretty tight ride.

When the S550's were first introduced, there were also negative criticism when compared to the outgoing S197 cars, including here on TMS... However, the negative criticism eventually faded away as the S550's became more and more popular and accepted... In the beginning, I also didn't accept the S550's when compared to the outgoing S197 Mustang, but eventually, they began to grow more and more upon me... I can honestly now say that I appreciate the S550 Mustangs in their own right, just as much as I have with the S197 cars... Therefore, I'm quite certain that in the end, the S650 Mustang will also be just as appreciated and accepted as the 2015-2023 S550 cars have been.

Yes many, many TMSers swore on here that they absolutely would never buy an S550 only to succumb later on down the road.
