Old member returning after 12 years!
Hello,
Last time I posted was in 2007, I believe, when I was selling my '93 GT. Life happened over the last 12 years and the things I wanted kinda got put on the back burner, LOL! The misses and I have moved 4 times since 2007, but all moves were within the same county
Anyway, things have gotten better over the years and I would like to build a Mustang this time. Since I'm almost positive I'll never get a '67 GT500 Eleanor Mustang... I think I'll start saving for the Cervini's 05-09 Mustang C-Series kit pieces and then buy an 05-09 GT in a couple of years.
I plan on buying a stock, unmolested GT Premium, 5-speed, some form of Grey, with Black leather interior. I'm very skilled with my mechanical abilities and would plan to rebuild the engine, adding a few bolt-on power adders, along with a supercharger one day!
One thing I wished I had bought, before Cervini's discontinued them, were the GT500 style tail lights... I'll see if anyone on here has some for sale, but I doubt it.
I'll try to stick around a little longer this time

Welcome back and I'm sure you'll find an unmolested 2005-09 GT in a 5-speed manual at a decent price. In the meantime, best of luck

I don't think you will find the black leather interior, though. If I remember correctly, the only leather option in the 2005-2009 models was the Interior Upgrade Package (I have it) and that was available only in red.

OP, I get the desire for an unmolested car, that's what I looked for when I picked up my Tacoma. There's lots of ways to screw up a car with bad mods. Don't rule out cars with a few simple bolt-ons though. Something simple like a CAI and a tune are very easy to change out. And you can save some $$$ on a few well done mods you were planning to do anyway.
