The Shelby has a Red insert accent on the seats for the interior with Charcoal leather, does anyone know if that is Shelby specific or can you upgrade the regular GT with that interior combo?

And I am not talking about the old Red ICAP.

 

shelby specific, though ill bet ford can sell you it for a gazillion dollars after the fact and then void the warranty on your interior by using a gt500 part in your mustang gt.

Isn't that what the new two-tone interior is supposed to be? Or am I confused... again.

 

^ The GT/CS has the two-toned interior like the GT500, but only in black/dove or black/parchment.

The regular GT has solid color seats (it is like the current red interior, just in more colors).

 

So if the GT interior is staying the same, just more color options - do we know what the colors will be? I like the Dark Charcoal but want to know if that color will be available with the door inserts in another color?

Also, what is soft-touch interior? Will the dash still be the hard plastic? Are the only changes the side armrests and center console rest, or the materials of the actual instrument panel/dash also changing?

Any info. would be appreciated. If we don't know yet, I guess we all will in a couple weeks. Thanks, Frank

 

If you read the 2007 order guide the GT Premier Trim w/color accents gives you these choices: KC (black/parchment), KD (Black/Dove), KR (Black/Red), and K4 (Black/chamois)
GT Cal Special gets only The KC (Black/parchment) or KD (Black/Dove)
