Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I never seriously considered a "side stripe". I considered a "boss" type stripe but in the end I really wanted the car to be more understated in its appearence.

Very nice.
What is the width of the main stripe ?
What is the spacing between the main stripe and narrower stripe ?
What is the width of the narrower stripe ?
Where are you located and where did you get this striped ?

David, they look fantastic! Nice to see a variation on the theme. I was starting to think everyone was going the "dual stripe" route! I like the twin stripes, but it's nice to see something different now and then.
Excellent job on them. I saved all of your pictures to my desktop and will use them as wall paper! Thanks for posting, and good luck with your ride. It looks great!

Awesome Dave!
Now I'd like to see that stripe style with other color combinations - yellow/black, white/blue, white/red, blue/white, etc!
Anyone know if that's how the '03/'04 Mach 1 models were striped (vinyl with no clearcoat)?

They are good through the shop that put them on for 7 years. It is commercial-grade vinyl. They are very well known here and mainly do commercial work.

Where is "Here"? I see you're a Giants fan, so is it the Bay Area? I'm in San Jose and waiting for my Legend Lime due March 6th.....2 weeks baby.
(if I would have waited and read all the posts I wouldn't have asked that question..... )

David, your car looks awsome. If I was going to do a stripe job, the single stripe would be my choice, like others have said it has a nice retro theme to them. Great job and enjoy that beauty.

I also like this design. I am getting mine painted in 2 weeks. I have a torch red and I'm still trying to decide between black or white stripes. My dimensions will be somewhat similar but I think my middle will be about 13 inches and I will have a 1 3/4 gap between with 2 1/2 inch stripes on each side. I will post when I get it finished. It's just a matter of setting off the dimensions between the front fogs and in the back, the license plate. That will determine my gaps and main stripe configuration. Again, good choice.

David... car looks great. It's screaming for a Shaker hood scoop though.

I know!! A shaker hood would look sweet. Can't wait to see what hoods come out--hopefully soon.
