I drive an Srt4 ,but not crazy about fwd. I have been looking for the best bang for the buck and it looks like the new 5.0 fits the bill. A friend got a 2011 5.0 so he let me drive it at the track. The car had a full tank of gas of 87 octane, and his car is automatic. I still was able to pull a 13.2 @ 110 for being a stock car. I could not believe the power I loved it.

What I was not crazy about was the seats it did not hold me in place like my current car.

I also noticed at night the light from the gauge reflect a little bit on the front windshield. I think if the dash came back a few inches it would be fine.

I was not crazy about the stereo did not sound good no mater what I adjusted.

I don't want seem like I am nit picking. I would still get this car, these are
small stuff that can be changed out or fixed. I just have to save a little to get this.

87 octane knocks the power down about ten horses or so, wait till you get behind the wheel of one with 93 in it.
I'm not crazy about the headrests and am anxiously awaiting the aftermarket to come out with one that tilts.
You can turn the halo lighting off on the gauges, that gets rid of the lighting on the windshield in most cases.
Try the Shaker 1000 sound system if the 500 doesn't do it for you. I like the 500 just fine, but I'm a geezer so that probably makes a difference.

Really hope you are able to land a 2011 GT, such a remarkable car.

Yes there are always pros and cons, but the aftermarket these cars have you can add as much modifacations that meet ALL of your needs.
