New at The Mustang Source

Good afternoon everyone My name is Billy I'm from Charlotte NC I own a small towing business I'm about my 3 Sons and try my best to follow and live by the lord above! Ok So i ended up here because my son went off w/o talking to me and bought a 2010 mustang GT at the auction.. It has 40K miles but she was hit REAL HARD in the front.. It push the passenger door back about a ince or so the lower frame is bent the frame rails are bent .. I for got about me having a 2014 mustang v6 over at the shop and my son asked for it I said yes but we needed to do a lot or research to find out the fastest but the RIGHT way to make the swap.. So I would like to ask everyone if they have seen this done or have they done this swap before? I would like to keep it updated with info and pic on the swap.. Thanks

First off welcome to TMS, also what are we looking to swap? Is it the engine from the 2010 that you want or is it multiple things? Things like this are done all the time it just depends on if the mounts will line up how much fabrication will be needed. It all adds up but you are starting out right with a donor car (if that's what it is). It all depends on if you are doing the work yourselves or going to lay someone to do it. And how much work goes into it. I am not going to lie if there is alot of fabrication to do it starts to get expensive
