New Member - Old Stang man lol..
Greetings all, just joined up on the board after perusing the net for some info on my newest pony, and it seemed every tid bit I googled it brought me right back here.. Plus Ive learned over the years to trust other owners knowledge over almost anyone behind a sales counter yet so far..
Im from Circleville, Ohio, living NW of Columbus Ohio trying to survive kids graduating from high school !
Just picked up my 2013 Schoolbus Yellow Boss 302 (#0033 on the engine plate) on Saturday, saw it on the lot, sat in it, started it up and knew it had to be my next car. One that of course the wife wasnt pleased with, since she doesnt get it really, why did I need ANOTHER mustang lol...
Avid Stang lover, only car Ive ever owned since I started picking my own cars.. with one Mercury Capri back in the fox body days..Ive owned more fox bodies than I can count on both hands and feet over the years, back in my youth I would buy used ones on their last legs, fix them up nice and like new again, then after driving them for a while find another and repeat the process.
My first NEW one was a Chrome Yellow 1998 GT Coupe, which I coverted to a Saleen clone, drove it until 2005 when the "throwback" bodystyle came out and I loved them.. retired my 98 with 188K miles on her for a Red 05 GT Coupe, and basically did the same thing.. tweeked it a little, then fell for a 07 Grabber Orange GT Coupe.. which I managed to keep until the body changed on the 10 model and dealerships were practically giving cars away and ordered a Kona Blue Coupe..and then an 11 GT Tri Coat Yellow Blaze when I found out the 5.0 was coming back.. but now due to the threats from my wife Im done buying Mustangs for a while, lucky for me I got a good one to hold on to
Looking foreward to the site, and hopefully I might even be able to contribute something sometime!!
