Hello Everyone!
I've been lurking for some time now, as I have been researching and keeping general tabs on the current gen Ford Mustang since '11.
I've finally bit the bullet, and put my order in. I expect a VIN this Friday. Crossing my fingers.
I've "purchased" a 2014 GT Premium with Track Package. This is my first new car purchase, and certainly the largest one, so I'm simultaneously anxious and excited.
As far as modifications, I don't plan on getting too crazy-I'd like to use the BOSS 302 intake, and a quad exhaust, ala said BOSS. I plan on murdering the car out, as I'm not a huge fan of chrome. Since the '14's with track package don't come with the black painted wheels, I am thinking about having mine powder-coated black.
I work for an awesome company called Local Motors, who manufacturers the Rally Fighter. You can see that here: http://rallyfighter.com/ This affords me some unique capabilities as far as custom fabrication-have to get the car before I can come up with anything.
I currently own a 2001 V6 Mustang, which I am currently running into the ground. It's at 175XXX, so I think I got my money's worth! I also am restoring a 1980 Scout II Nissan Diesel-waiting on a rebuild.
