Hi all, my name is Dan and i just ordered 2014 GT500. contacted SVT yesterday and they said car is ordered but parts are on back order and they have no idea when car will even begin to be built....UGH! any ideas on anybody to contact so they can keep me posted on progress of build?

Yep, she's very helpful. I, too, am waiting for a '14 to be built. Longest 6-8 weeks ever! Just got a GT though so hopefully those aren't on backorder lol.

 

Hey Danster. I too am ordering a 2014 GT500. Going to the dealer to finalize the deal tomorrow. My local dealer was only allotted 1 Shelby so the couldn't order for me. Found a dealer about an hour and a half away that was allotted 4 and agreed to order one exactly the way I designed it. They told me they ordered their 1st Shelby on 2/27 and it just finished production and is expected on the lot in the next few days. Hopefully yours isn't far behind.

 

Well, I ordered a 500 on 12/1/12, car was completed on 3/12/13, and i'm still waiting?? ETA keeps being moved back!

Good choice with the Shelby and welcome to the forum! Describe your car in your signature so we all know what your getting! My husband and I are getting our Shelby at the end of the month! Woo Hoo!!
